Royal Navy Coastal Forces

Hello!

I was hoping someone could land me some tips as I have never searched for Royal Navy records before.

I'm looking for a man named Sidney Davis and all I know about him is that he served in the Coastal Forces during World War 2. He was from Rotherham in South Yorkshire, then would have been West Riding of Yorkshire.

I've done a fair bit of googling, ready up on the Coastal Forces history a bit but apart from that I've made no progress so i'm hoping someone has some tips and tricks somewhere!
