The age of Elizabeth in 1805 is 34 and ties in with a baptism of an Elizabeth Ferraby in Cadney on 14 Oct 1770, daughter of William and Elizabeth.

Which Elizabeth does BillieF descend from?

Death of Joseph?
June 1841 Glanford Brigg 14 272
Turner, Joseph
age 79

Joseph was buried at Worlaby, 29th May.
Age 78 on the burial record.

Just missed being on the 1841 census!

Thank you for all the replies.

I`ll look into the possibility that Joseph Turner married twice.

I descend from Joseph Turner and Elizabeth Ferraby, their son Thomas Turner 1792.

I tried Lincstothepast again, without success ! It wouldn`t even let me register.

However, today I`ve been to my local library armed with all the information which you all kindly looked up for me.

I am sure that the Elizabeth who died in 1805 age 34 is my direct ancestor. I looked on Findmypast at the marriage of Joseph to Elizabeth Girdham. The image was quite faded, but Joseph is described as a widower, first witness was Charles Girdham, I couldn`t make out the second witness ( just going to check Freereg. )  Freereg says the witnesses were Ellen Glover and Richard Girdham - I think I`ll take another look at FindMyPast.
