Can anybody help with birth details/parents for George GORDON born c1839 Brighton, Sussex.  These details came from the following record:

Ship of arrival: Hydra 1864 (this vessel left Newcastle, NSW, Australia on 23 Feb 1864 and arrived in Auckland, New Zealand on 10 March 1864 and carried sheep, cattle and horses.  I have not been able to find a crew/passenger list for thus voyage).

I have searched Familysearch and have not identified George GORDON.

There is this birth which could be worth looking at -

Reuben Gordon
q4 1839, Brighton, Sussex
Vol 7 Page 238
MMN- Stepney

As yet I've been unable to locate Reuben on any records other than above. Perhaps he changed his name to George  :-\
