Possible marriage in Glasgow.
« on: Tuesday 16 May 17 18:39 BST (UK) »
Hi All.
Can some body with access to Scottish nrecords help me to help a colleague.
I am trying to find the marriage of a Miss Mary Kelly to a Mr Raymond Greenhalgh.
The possible Dates are from 1960 to 1967. The reason behind this is he is not quite sure when his parents got married.
Please Help If Possible.
Regards
Jedi James

ev,
Nice find.     Jedi, the preview says... Mary Fraser Kelly to Raymond Greenhalgh, 1963 at Partick.
You can't see the full image on Scotlands People because it is so recent.      Partick is on north side of Glasgow.

I tried looking for some births of children for Raymond & Mary.     I made the dates for the births as 1963 to 1980.      The following births came up...

      Raymond D Greenhalgh b 1964 Glasgow North
      Nicola Greenhalgh b 1970 Rutherglen
Christopher Greenhalgh b 1973 Glasgow, Martha St
Christina Rosan Greenhalgh b 1975 Glasgow, Martha St.

I guess Raymond may be a son of Raymond & Mary, but no proof until you see it on a certificate.     Nicola was born in Rutherglen, which is on the south side.      Christopher & Christina are given as Martha St.      Martha St is the old Registry Office's address, near to George Square in the centre of Glasgow.

Nicola may have been born in the old Rutherglen maternity hospital
