Hello everybody
I have a small problem with dating this photograph!!!
The young lady out front was born in 1928!!!
Her brother was born ten years later in 38!!!
Toffee on the left was born 1912 and won an MC in WW2 with SOE
Next to him was born 1913
Far right, was born in 1903.
I think it HAS to be post-war, but the young lady CANNOT be 17.

My thanks in advance

Best wishes to you all and love to those who know me!!!!
Mark ;)

I would think some of your dates must be incorrect. If you presume the photo was taken in 1939 and a lot of people had family photos taken then before the sons went to war, that would make the young girl 11, but the boy only 1, Toffee 27, next to him 26 and the one on the far side 36.
The young boy is obviously not only 1 year old, the young girl looks about 11 or 12 so that could be correct. I'm not sure that the lady on the far side looks 36, but it is hard to tell.
I think you definitely need to look at the date of birth for the young boy, I would think he looks about  6 or 7.

Absolutely, Trishanne
Thank you.

The older three are definitely born 03, 12, 13 and the girl 28.  It would appear I've been given the wrong lad, Simon.

Could those kids be possibly two years apart??  To me the lad looks about 6, and the lass no more than 9.  Which would give us 1936 or 7.

What a game this is!!!

When I enlarge the photo the girl does look quite young, so maybe there is not as much difference as I first thought. However she would have to be very tall for her age, so it is hard to tell.

Jacquie's mother and grandmother are on her left. And her aunt is far right.  All are fairly tall.
The Blathwayt men are not related, and their mother Eliz Helen de Grey is the titch in the hat.
