« on: Friday 19 May 17 04:49 BST (UK) »
Hi All,

I was hoping someone may be able to firstly decipher the handwriting and hopefully translate into English?

Thanks in advance
Lisa :)

Nasty handwriting, but this is what it may read:

Beschäftigt als: - Employed as:
Landhelfer - In general somebody helping out on a farm. (If this is situated in the 3rd Reich period you may want to look up Landhelferbrief; a document given to all young unemployed people who had worked for at least 6 months as a temporary worker on a farm.)
/ Diplom - / diploma.
B... - ?
Postfacharbeiter - Mailman or someone who works at the postal service.
Kfm (Kaufmann) gehilfer - Merchant's assistant.
Wachtmstr (Wachtmeister) - A soldier of this rank, or a lower rank in the police, or possibly somebody guarding certain facilities.
Heizer - Stoker or boilerman.

Kind regards
