Just to mention that I've just found the list of transcribed Drummaul graves on the genealogical site of the Braid Museum.  This has the same copyright you mentioned above.  There is also a list of other graveyards, presumably also in mid-Antrim.

Thank you for the Braid link. I have since discovered the Braid site but did not revisit the Drummaul . I now belong to the MidAntrim Genealogy Group who regularly use the Braid information.

I am copying some of the information posted on this thread across to a new one on the Antrim forum. But didn't think to copy the link before switching across to here. The new topic is Bryce Henry and Eliza Ewing.

Cheers

Linda

And I did have the name of Mary Faulkner's husband in my Ancestry tree. He was John Alexander Weir who died Randalstown on 10 Feb 1898.

Just an update on the Holmes family. Recent DNA matches show that Mary Henry b c 1813, daughter of Brice Henry of Shanrod Co Down, married James McIlroy of Benraw. Their daughter Mary Jane McIlroy b 1833  married Thomas Holmes the subject of this thread. Married 4 Nov 1853, by Rev John Henry, minister of Leitrim Presbyterian Church/Meeting House and uncle of the bride.

So there is a previous Henry connection.

I can add that though I now have Mary McIlroy's death (13 Dec 1886, Benraw), I will have to wait until irishgenealogy scan more death images, to pinpoint the death of her husband James McIlroy.

James McIlroy was the occupant of Property #50 (A& B) in Benraw in the Griffiths Valuations. James was crossed out and replaced with Mary in 1871. Property #50 comprised 22 acres and 3 acres.

There are two deaths recorded at Banbridge for James McElroy that could be James, one in 1869 aged 69 and another in 1870 aged 72.

IrishGenealogy have the outstanding death records already scanned.....just haven't got round to putting on the website to complete deaths 1864-1870.  ::)
