Isabella Thom Harrison - Glasgow

My great-great grandmother, Isabella Thom Harrison (1883-1953) was married to Donald Macdonald (1874-1956) in Glasgow in 1904 and was daughter to William Harrison and Isabella Thom Boyd. According to my grandmother, she owned a dairy in Glasgow, however I'm not sure where I can look to find out more information about this. I have only found her on the 1901 census and she was a jeweller's assistant. Can anyone help?

Can you post details of which area in Glasgow they were married please as it's a big city?

Do you have areas/addresses where they were living, from any of the children's births which may help to locate them in directories?

It may be an idea to edit your 'subject' heading to include her marital surname of MacDonald?

Did Isabella Thom own the shop prior or post marriage or both?

Have you looked for her in 1911?

Hi, just had a quick look, Isabella Thom McDonald nee Harrison, birth reg. in Gorbals, marriage reg. Cathcart, death reg. Cathcart. So all southside. Her mother's death reg. Pollockshields.

Her marriage is on SP index as Isabella Boyd Harrison.

Hi what you failed to inform us is that Isabella aged 17 occ Jewellers Assistant had in the same household an Isabella Harrison 47 Widow Lydia 22 Jane 19 and Annie 15
