Hi

I'm trying to locate who was living ar 50 Middle Abbey Street Dublin in 1932 and whether it was a residential address  ?

It's more likely Middle Abbey Street. It's in the city centre, off O'Connell Street.
An email to the nice folks upstairs in Pearse street library will often get a response.

They have a huge collection of Thom's directories.

I found a roundabout way to look at one of the online copies.
50  Middle Abbey Street 1932 lists Miss M. Cruice, St. Patrick's Guild.

My 'hack' to get into the directory is a bit complicated. I'll see can I get at the index tomorrow.

**edit
Had a quick try.
No Esmonde-White that I can see.
Esmonde,
Miss A., 1 St. Joseph's terrace, Sandford Road, Pembroke
Mrs. Mary, 4 Garfield terrace, Rathgar

One woman was proceeding to Mrs.Esmonde White, secretary of the ICPRS. The remaining eleven women
were going to 50, Middle Abbey Street, Dublin to Mary Josephine Cruice, and these must have been included in the reported thirty cases of women sent to her up to May 1941.

Hi @Dublin1850

I see this thread about 50 Lower Abbey Street. This is the address my mothers mother was at in 1949 when my mum was born.

Do you know what it was ?
