Deborah Conkshaw
« on: Tuesday 23 May 17 14:19 BST (UK) »
I wonder if anyone can help me with this one.....
My 6 x GGM was born in Witham on the Hill in 1719, her name was Deborah Cronkshaw. She got married in 1739 to Benjamin Claypole. I don't know how many children the had, I just know of my GGGGG GD, William Claypole born 1757. She died in 1775.

I would love to know who her parents were and where they came from.

Thanks in advance for any help you can give me

Regards,
Kev.

Hello Kev

I see that FS has the marriage of Benjamin Claypole and Deborah Cronkshaw, 29 Jan 1739 at Witham on the Hill, Lincs - plus several baptisms there for children of Benjamin and Deborah Claypole:

Benjamin 1745
Nathan 1747
Robert 1748
Samuel 1750
Edward 1754
Mary 1755
William 1757
Joseph 1759

How do you know that Deborah was also born there, and when she was born?

I found the information that I have already got on Findmypast but it seems to come to an abrupt stop at this point.
Thank you for the effort you have made. It is of great help to me

Googling Nathaniel Cronkshaw brings up a number of references to a vicar b abt 1670 in Lancashire. There is also an NC who was headmaster of Kimbolton school 1703 - 1739. Might not be the same one if he was having children baptised elsewhere during this period.
