Looking for the obituary of Lady Lisa Peterson Feb 12, 1929. Hoping the obit will mention her sister Maud Ross who reportedly died in 1932 in Worcester, Worcestershire, England.

Thank you CaroleW. I have ordered Lisa's will. I don't know if Maud would have one. She was in the Homewood Sanatarium in Ontario in 1911 and I don't know when she was released or if she was released to a relative, etc. Her husband committed her abt 1908 and married for the third time on the same day that he divorced Maud. Looks like some fancy paperwork to me to avoid a bigamy charge.

Although the probate entry shows her as Lisa - her death reg shows her as Eliza G.  Eliza Gibb Spence b 1863 Liverpool

Her mothers maiden name was Gibb but I can't see a Maud Spence birth with mmn Gibb

Lisa Gibb Peterson was born as Lisa Gibb Ross, parents William Ross and Jessie Vere Drummond. Born Nov 14, 1863 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Her parents then moved to Scotland where Maud was born Aug 10, 1868. All family members died in England although Lisa in particular spent much time in Canada. Lisa did marry in Scotland. I'm not sure where the Spence comes in. Maud married William De Ronden-Pos in Brooklyn, New York in 1896 and he divorced her in 1908. I am hoping Lisa's will will clarify how Maud came to die in Worcester if it is the correct Maud as her death record is under Ross.

Her 1929 death is registered as Eliza G so I looked for a birth for an Eliza Gibb in 1863 and found the Eliza Gibb Spence birth.  Just found that child died in 1865
