Doesn't look to be the right marriage  ... ?

adding : The Winifred POOLE who died in 1985 was aged 77 years and wife of Barney (from death notice).  So can rule that one out too. 

There was no mention of a Mrs POOLE in Joseph's or Elizabeth's obits.

1920 FLYNN Joyce M, father John J, mother Mary, at West Maitland, reg 4279/1920.  It was January 11, 1920

There are a number of touching memoriam notices from her grandparents, J and E TIERNEY, the BAILEYS, the HESLOPS and other aunts, uncles and cousins.  They give more family info.

A lovely description of the wedding of Eileen TIERNEY and George BAILEY.   Eileen is described as the youngest daughter of Mr and Mrs Joseph TIERNEY of Bourke St, West Maitland.
