Hi

Trying to find the parents of Ethel Mary white

Born apparently 1886 coleford Gloucestershire

Married 1908 Monmouth to Frederick hogg

Found a Ethel white aged 4 in lydney Gloucestershire 1891 census as a visitor ?? No parents

1901  found a ethel as a servant

1911 married to Frederick hogg says born in coleford

Anyone assist please

The marriage was in 1908 in Monmouth Registration District.
Coleford was a parish in that RD!

Marriage:
29th Feb 1908 at Coleford
Frederick Hogg, 23, Bachelor, Cleaner in Brewery, of Whiteshill, Stroud, Gloucestershire
Ethel Mary White, 23, Spinster, of Mashan Lane, Coleford

Fathers names: John, Thomas Hogg, Drayman   and  Benjamin Hale White, Collier

Witnesses: Benjamin Hale White, Lily White and Bertram White

If the parents details are correct, then:

Marriage: 7th October 1884 at Monmouth
Benjamin Hale, Bachelor, 23, Collier, of this parish
Sarah Ann Little, Spinster, 21, of this parish

Fathers: George Hale, collier   and   John Little (deceased)
Witnesses: Thos Jas White and Bessie Little
Garrad (Suffolk, Essex, Somerset), Crocker (Somerset), Vanstone (Devon, Jersey), Sims (Wiltshire), Bridger (Kent)

Ethel Mary white was the daughter of

Benjamin hale and Sarah Ann little see the 1891 census

Yet the family are all named

White from the 1901 census

I can't find a reason ***

Why didn't you transcribe both the 1891 and 1901 since you already hold them?

and to be absolutely clear about your post , we are not mind readers, and I have absolutely no idea if you refer to the husband and children of the 1886 birth or her birth family.

George white born west dean Gloucestershire 1834

Parents

George white born 1786 newland

Married a

Elizabeth ??? Born about 1790 in Gloucestershire ??

They had at least 6 children between 1811 and 1834

The 1841 census have them in dean forest

Residence joyford

George white 55-59

Elizabeth white 50-54

James white 25-29

George white 7

Eliza white 18-22

Amelia white 14


Trying to find when and where George and Elizabeth married ( and here maiden name ) please
