That register.....
« on: Thursday 25 May 17 20:32 BST (UK) »
I know I can't ask for a look up from it, but does the register shows relationships of people in a household? Trying to sort out a puzzle and wondering whether it's worth stumping up for credits.

No, the 1939 register does not show relationships.  It indicates whether people are married or single.
Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.
Remember - "They'll be found when they want to be found" !!!

If you are talking about the 1939 register, maybe it would be a good idea to read the info about it from Find My Past, they ever give examples of pages ,so you can see what is included.

No it does not show relationships but it can provide very useful clues to extended family relationships, in-laws, grandparents, cousins etc.
I do mean clues further research will be required to follow up the clues and establish the relationships but that is the fun part of family history, the research.
