I have John Wilson and family on the 1851 census at Shotley Bridge Benfieldside HO107/2389/251/56 can't find them on 1841, could I please ask if anyone can find them for me.
His wife is named as Allis? Eliz, could this be Alice?

     I'm not having much luck...there seems to be a big age gap (12yrs) between Mary Ann + Julia
so possible, either or both John + Alice could have been married before.

Do you know when they wed?  According to G.R.O. birth reg's. Julia's mothers maiden name was
Simpson.

Hi, I found the marriage on LDS - Alice Elizabeth Simpson & John Wilson St Cuthbert, Carlisle 01 01 1837.  no luck in 1841, sorry
