White star line
« on: Friday 26 May 17 10:36 BST (UK) »
I just read a post from 2010 re the white star that operated from Holyhead to America and some Welsh people would use this to go to Pattagonia, my question is  did the ships all go to New York from Holyhead? I always been searched for Margaret from Liverpool to Pattagonia well Port M  but maybe I should look at USA there was someone who looked interesting to me but she was going to New York
And I ignored it.

Hello again Val.You most certainly should not ignore it.There were some Welsh emigrants to Patagonia who did indeed take the "scenic route" via New York.

Hello William,
I was hoping you would reply I often want to tag you in my posts.
You are lucky your not my next door neighbour you would never get rid of me lol

When I get home I'm digging out the list that has you know who on it to see if I can place her.
You can't add photo copies of things of this forum can you.
I met a fab lady in the registrars office where the St Asaph certificates are held and she went through all Margret Davies MC up till 1920 and She was not there so I'm up the creek there lol.
I do hope your well and thank you for replying 😀

I strangly didn't mind it not being her, maybe I enjoyed the detective work rather than the chase.
Think I'm going to start looking at Flintshire marriages lol
