My brick wall DAY!
« on: Friday 26 May 17 10:51 BST (UK) »
I don't know what I'm doing wrong but I just stuck with trying to find out more about my ancestor's niece.

Mary Margaret HILL married William DAY in 1866 at Bolton, Lancashire {Bolton Register Office or Registrar Attended (Bolton RO/35/176)}

In 1871 Mary Margaret DAY (married) is back home with parents William & Ann at 64 Bond Street, Pennington, Leigh, Lancs

What happened to Mr & Mrs DAY?

It wouldn't be unknown for her to return to her mother for the first child's birth.
as has already been asked, what happens after 1871?

no trace of Mary Margaret Day in 1881

no death or remarriage found 1871 - 1881

her parents die in Leigh about 1895ish - she doesn't appear with them later either - my ownly guess now is emmigration?,?
