Looking for information on people by the name ofDay Family in Carstairs, Alberta

I live in Scotland and have been recently been told that i could be connected to this family as they had originally emigrated from Scotland.

Really need more info than just a surname. There are people of that surname from Emgland and Australia as well.

For the last few years a school pipe band has gone out to play at the Calgary Stampede and are due to go again this year. One of the members of the band has heard that she could be distantly related to this Day family.  She has Bain and Murray connections.

Coincidentally there is a 1891 Canadian Census Muskoka Simcoe showing Alex Bain born 1824 Scotland ...........   Does he belong to your family

There are marriages for John Bain and Marian Forest Bain in Muskoka Ontario. Are these part of your Bain Family  Parents Alexander Bain and Jane Horn

The Alexander Bain in my Family Tree never left Scotland.

The only other information I got concerning the Days is that they could be connected to sporting club.

Perhaps the Silver Willow Sporting Club, owned by the Day Family, in Mountain View County, Alberta. Carstairs is in that County.
