LDS have extracted the marriage record for Hannah Mcilwaine (father John, etc.) to John Donaldson-
https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:FGCN-1JL

Daughter Sarah Jane born 1865- https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:FRHP-YH4
Son James born 1867- https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:F5VL-9JR
Daughter Margaret born 1872- https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:FGHD-Z3T

The actual birth certificates should be available on Irish Genealogy site (free) but registration only started in 1864 so there are likely older children also

Thanks but these are too late as the eldest were in Glasgow by 1851. I have not managed to find Richard who would be 6 nor Charles in 1851. Robert their father is widowed by then

Marriages: 1845* to 1940

Deaths: 1864 to 1965

*non-Roman Catholic Marriages are recorded from 1845, Roman Catholic Marriages are recorded from 1864

Do you mean that their father Robert also went to Scotland?
