my uncle Robert Mitchell born 4 January 1906 in alloa Scotland
. moved to Michigan Detroit august 1930 he died by an accident at the hotel Detroit-Leland 18 feb 1837. on his death cert there is a name  Garnet Allen either his wife or Co- habitee at 4262 west fort street which no longer exists   question  who was she ? any help will be appreciated

Detination Detroit - arrived 31/8/1930 - Father John - 2553 Grand Rivers - Detroit Michigan. Mother Jean Mitchell, 6 Moss Road Tillycoultry Scotland.
Arrived Quebec on the Letitia 30/8/1930

I have to confess I have not found the death cert so wondered if this could be relevant

it's an obit for George H Hale who has a daughter Mrs Robert Mitchell in Grand Rapids, George's wife's name is Garnet, had to mention it because of the names.
