I was trying to find all the children of Richard Hodges and Margaret Sullivan.
In 1911 she says she had 10, 8 still living.
I've found 9, the 10th is probably before Civil Registration.

Hi.  If I did my own genealogy research correct, this Richard Hodges born 1866 is my 1st cousin 3x removed.

His father Richard Hodges had 2 brothers (so uncles of Richard born 1866).  One was John  born 1842 and one was Thomas born 1840.  Both John and Thomas ended up in Michigan, USA.  Thomas is my 2nd great grandfather.

I have read all of the links.  Alice Seabury married Wm Hodges and they had a son named Thomas born around 1840 maybe in Kilaconenagh. I believe that he is Richard (b 1839) sibling.  Thomas was married in Kilaconenagh to Sarah Carter 13 Mar 1860.  Other than that, I can find no other information about Thomas or Sarah Carter.  I believe that she was born in Ireland.  Her parents were born in England.  Sarah's father was a mine agent.  I am not sure what that jobs entails but it took him from Cornwall to Cork.  If you have come across these names at all, I would greatly appreciate anything you may have found.  Thanks

Thomas was married in Kilaconenagh to Sarah Carter 13 Mar 1860.

Link to marriage at Killaconenagh Parish Church. Richard Hodges one of the witnesses.

Thank you for your help.  I am trying to find the birth records for Thomas Hodges and Sarah Elizabeth Carter.  I thought that since they were married in Kilaconenagh in 1860 that maybe they were baptized there as well.  They were both born around 1840 or 1838.  I have not had any luck finding any information regarding their birth records.  I have seen posts that Thomas may have been born in Rathkeale, Limerick, but I have not found him there either.  From this post it looks like his family lived around Kilaconenagh for quite some time.  Any suggestions where to look would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks.

I believe Killaconenagh church of Ireland was part of the parish for Berehaven, records go  back to the 1780s and held by the RCB library in county Dublin, as far as I know Berehaven records or transcripts are not available online on any of the major websites - link to info  The RCB parish listing also mentions some Microfilm records for Killaconenagh, held in the National Archives (Bishop St.) - no dates given
