Anyone remember Saighton Camp Chester 1947 between February and September?  My birth father was there, known as Charlie.

Did you mean to post this on the Italy board?  Would it not be better placed on the Cheshire board or Armed Forces (if it relates to military service)

I have put this post on the Italy site because the Charlie I am seeking information about was an Italian Prisoner of War stationed at Saighton Camp, Chester, as mentioned.  His real name would probably have been Carlo, the Charlie being a nickname.  It is a very long shot but there could be someone out there who was at Saighton at the same time.
