Carr of Ardnavark, Barnesmore, Co. Donegal

I am helping a visually impaired person look for her birth mother, Bridget Carr origionally of Ardnavark, Barnesmore in Donegal (now deceased).  She married in the 1960's surname then was Carter and she lived in Leicester.  Bridget was born in 1925 and was told she died 10 years ago.  Would love help with her obit please.  Thank you.

A Bridget Agnes Carter b 14.11.1925 died April 1991 Leicester

Leicestershire Central Volume 6 Page 1788

The marriage was 1963 and her husband Matthew Anthony Carter b 1922 died November 1992 also Leics Central

There appears to be one child born to the marriage who is probably still alive so details cannot be given here

There is a probate entry for Matthew - address was 18 Corporation Rd Leics.  Died 25.11.1992

Hello i am from ardnawark i think im related to this person.. my dad just called with me an hour ago telling me that the local postman met a 2 ladies at the carr homestead where they might not have got a welcome and this was a lady looking for her roots but the postman didnt know her name or any details so i literally just googled.. we only live half a mile from the carrs place and would love to meet family..  l as i think my granny was related .. hope this helps!!

I was one of the women that visited Ardnawark.  The woman in question is looking for her Carr roots and I am helping her to do that.  So you think your grandmother is related to Bridget Carr?

So my dad and bridget are/were first cousins.. my granny and bridgets mum were half sisters because someone married twice.. prob widowed.. my aunts would have lots of information 😊
