Maurice Joseph Collins ("Billy" Collins), Edith, Germany
« on: Thursday 01 June 17 04:34 BST (UK) »
Maurice Joseph Collins (also known as Billy or Michael), from Limerick, served with the British Army and was in the Control Commission for Germany after WW2. He met a woman called Edith during this time and I am looking for more information about her. I am new to Rootschat - if this post would be better placed in a different section, please advise - thank you.

Hi

Do you know at which place(s) he was stationned in Germany?
What do you know about Edith and where/how he met her?
I could post your query in two German Forums about genealogy.
But without more information they wouldn't be able to help you.

Regards
Svenja

Thank you for your help Svenja. He was in the Personnel Branch of the Control Commission for Germany (British Element), 60 HQ CGG, Lubbecke BAOR. But I don't know anything about Edith.
