death/burial of George Carrick
« on: Thursday 01 June 17 08:57 BST (UK) »
George Carrick was baptised 1764 Catsfield son of John Carrick & Elizabeth Lawrence.

George & Mary Carter [bap 1771] married in 1793 Burwash.

George &  Mary issue:
William bap 1794 Burwash
Mary 1795 Speldhurst
George 1796 Speldhurst
Jane 1798 Speldhurst
Hannah 1800 Dallington
Richard 1802 Dalling.

I located Mary in the 1841 Census at Cranbrook, Kent aged 71 widow living on own means but unable to locate George.

I will post this also in Kent.

Hello Westy

George Carrick age 52 buried in 1822 at St Peter and St Paul, Tonbridge, Kent and in the same grave wife Mary Carrick age 72, buried 1843. This info from a headstone via gravephotos website. There's a death reg for Mary Carrick in the Camberwell, Surrey disrict June quarter (GRO Index shows age 73) so that could be her. Her son William lived in Surrey so she may have been living with him.

Best wishes
Caroline
