*COMPLETED* Need someone who can convert a PDF file to WORD please?
« on: Thursday 01 June 17 09:59 BST (UK) »
Hi Folks,

I have a pdf. document which I really would like converted to word for ease of use (highlight, copy, paste) but I'm unable to download any suitable converter to my laptop (compatibility problems) i.e. I'm hoping someone will be kind enough to offer to help.

If you feel you can help can you please PM me?

Thanks,

Annie

If you haven't had any offers yet, you might like to try the free online service at www.zamzar.com

It's helped me on a few occasions when it hasn't seemed worth getting my own conversion program - though as it involves sending the file to them to convert, I might think twice about using it for anything particularly private or sensitive. (They also offer a paid service with more security.)

There are no doubt other online conversion services too.

You can highlight part or all of the document and then copy and paste into a word document.  However you do lose most of the formatting, so may not be suitable for what you want, but could be worth a go!

Thanks Arthur & Gan Yam,

It was a good idea but I had looked at a few online (not for me) hence my request as it was a large file of 18 pages.

However, I had a PM from a very kind Rcer & I now have the full pdf. converted to word with all intact.

Thank you MJ for your trouble as it's much appreciated indeed.
