Which cemetery?
« on: Thursday 01 June 17 16:56 BST (UK) »
Hi all,

I am looking for the final resting place of my 2x great grandmother Mabel Stinton, who passed away on the 3rd July 1931. I know from her hospital records that after her death her body was to be delivered to the undertaker at Holy Trinity Church, Hermon Hill, South Woodford. This is also the church she was married in.

Unfortunately the parish records at the ERO contain only baptisms and marriages for Holy Trinity, Hermon Hill, as there was no graveyard attached to the church. Searches of all three of the big monument inscription websites came up empty too.

How do I proceed with my search for the correct cemetery/burial record for Mabel?

Kind Regards

SJJ

Would love to hear from anyone who has the surname STEMMAN/STEMMANN in their tree

Hi dawnsh

Haven't logged into Rootschat for a while. I updated my e-mail address earlier today. Can't see an option to remove the custom title text though.

Hi jonw65

Bingo! That is definitely her. Thank you kindly for posting this. Can I ask where the information came from? All of my searches came up empty.

I got the records of my grandmothers time in Brentwood Mental hospital from Essex archives for a very small fee, don't know if the date is too soon for release though
