Hi

I am looking for more info on Duke William Furnell and Bridget Davis who married in Tralee Barracks in the 1840s.
There is no evidence of her dying or any divorce. He was a soldier at the time and remarried in the 1860s England.

Not sure what happened to Bridget or if there were children? Bigomy?

Any ideas?

Civil registration of deaths in Ireland didn't start until 1864. Have you looked for a death registration in England?
