in 1899 Alick George Hyde married Nellie Wood  - Marylebone district.

On the 1901 census Alick G Hyde is with Olive Hyde who was born 1874, Sydenham.   Can find no marriage for Alick and Olive.  Olive Edney was born in Sydenham?   Olive Hyde died in 1963 Hackney district.

As there is nothing appearing online, I think you are going to have to get her mother's will, as that should give you a clue to whether she is still alive and if she married.

I was thinking the same, Alick does look to marry Marylebone 1899 but not to Olive so perhaps the marriage did not work out and they lived together as though they were married. Also this Olive is quite precise on 1911 census and gives her place of birth as Sydenham Road which is where the Edneys are living in 1881

If that is her she should be able to be found in the 1939 register which would show her date of birth.

Was there an obituary notice for the death of her mother Olive Edney she died December 1900?

"Olive Edney" shows up on electoral rolls up to and including 1901 at 1 (same cottages) as Kenelm + John S + Marguerite + Gladys.
