« on: Tuesday 06 June 17 05:40 BST (UK) »
Hello
Eric McWilliam Wright was born Q ending Dec 1884 in Dalkey ,Dublin
In 1917 he is in the Army --London Gazette  --I assume as 2nd Lt and if i understand things serving in/with the Indian Army.
I next find a record for him in 1926 when he arrives  in London from Calcutta . Occupation given as Planter.
He is app eras to be visiting family in Dublin. No mention of a wife sailing with him.
This is all i know of Eric ( he comes from a large family in Dalkey listed on 1901 and 1911 census many of his brothers are  Drs inc his Father) .
Would like to learn more about Eric McWilliam wright
Many thanks

That's a good point and may explain if he had a family why they did not all come.
Have been unable to find a death record for him.

24 Apr.1903 "Celtic" arrived New York from Queenstown, Ireland
Eric McWilliam Wright, 18, auditor, last residence- Dalkey, passage paid by Mrs. Scott, going to Harry Darling in Reno, Nevada
More detail on passenger manifest but he's travelling with Mrs. Scott & family, Mary Darling (age 35, nurse?, last residence Dublin, mother E. Darling of Reno)
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!
