I wondered if anyone had access to details of the above birth? Jane Florence JOUGHIN, Jul-Aug-Sep 1909, Cockermouth, Cumberland. I would love to know any details of parents etc.

That gives you her mother's maiden name.

I can't find a marriage for a Joughlin/Currin but from a later census it looks as if she had older siblings who were all born on the Isle of Man, so the marriage may have taken place there.

we can;t give you details from individual entries of 1911 for copyright reasons. searching familysearch for Joughins who lived in Cockermoth in 1911 brings up

Corrin Joughin (f) b Balla Salla IOM aged 44

William Joughin b Balla Janey IOM  aged 17

Gertrude Joughin b Balla Janey IOM aged 11

Jane F Joughin b  Crofscanonby Cumberland aged 1

No sign of any of these in 1901 to see who is connected to whom

You could ask for this to be moved to the Isle of Man forum as someone on there may have access to records and can find the marriage or births of the older siblings. I can't see them on the link David gave.

I believe mother and the two girls travelled to New zealand in 1912. Sadly she's just referred to as Mrs Joughin!
