Does he have a grave?
« on: Wednesday 07 June 17 20:31 BST (UK) »
Hello

we've recently found a HUGE amount of information on our family and have just started to wonder if there grave stones were local to us or if our family were even buried at all!

Reginald William Such 1883 - 1961
he lived in Winsford and died in the Holmecroft Archlid, near Sandbach?

thank you x

He died 16.1.1961 and left a will - probate granted to his daughter Lucy (spinster)

As you now have his exact date of death you could try contacting the records office to see if they can help?

Wife Esther died 1946 and daughter Lucy died 1986.  Could there be a family grave?

Have you tried local newspapers for a notice his death etc - Winsford Chronicle springs to mind?
Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.
Remember - "They'll be found when they want to be found" !!!
If you don't ask the question, you won't get an answer.

As you have his exact date of death, have you asked the cemeteries office at the council?
