Hi all, did you need a passport just before second world war to travel from Spain to Liverpool, if so where will I possibly find records please xx

From my reading, all that exist for that period are paper registers in chronological order which have not been digitised (and which seem to have very little information)

If the ship was sailing from beyond Europe via Spain then the passenger list will survive. If only from Spain to Britain then it won't.
