Matthew Adamson married Jean Hewitt in 1806 Annan.....I have certificate....no parents named so looking for death dates to find their parents names but nothing coming up on Scotlandspeople. According to 1841 census Matthew was born 1776 and Jean 1786
Many thanks

Jean was still alive in 1851 so Matthew must have died between censuses.  Shown as born 1775 Annan and living with son Matthew aged 24

If you "do the maths" she can't be his mother with that birthyear so her age may be wrongly transcribed

I can't find them either.  I have used wild card - just christian names - just surnames etc etc but nowt.

I bet somebody more experienced with SP will manage to find them ;D

There is a Janet Adamson on the statutory registers - 1855 aged 73 but RD is Kirkmahoe
Another Janet 1857 Wanlockhead aged 74
