Look up for Palmers in Berrow
« on: Sunday 11 June 17 12:01 BST (UK) »
Could anyone help me... I'm trying to find the name of Mary's husband and father of Elizabeth, Edward and James..

Mary (unknown maiden name) born about 1801
Elizabeth Palmer (Betsy) born about 1828
Edward Palmer born about 1831
James Palmer born about 1834

1841 ref - H0107 Piece 933 Folio 10 Page 16 Book 1

if someone could help me narrow down the births so I can order the relevant certificates I'd be very grateful..

You will not get a certificate prior to the start of registration in 1837  ;)

One of the childrens marriage certificates should name their father, unless they were illegitimate  :-\

Thank you

To narrow down a marriage certificate would be wonderful., I was aware a birth certificate was unlikely... the children were not illegitimate ( to my knowledge )  I believe the father died due to Mary being listed as a widow on 1841 census..

I believe the father died due to Mary being listed as a widow on 1841 census..

Whilst in the case she does appear to have been married many unmarried women with children appear on census as widowed  ;D
