Birth record for James Rayner,Barrington

Can anyone help with the birth record for a James Rayner.According to the 1851 an 1861 census records he lived in Shingay and was born about 1796 in Barrington, Cambridgeshire.He died in Shingay 13th May 1870

There is unlikely to be a birth record, as civil registration of births didn't start until 1837. Do you have a baptism record for him, which if you're lucky may include a birth date?

James was born in Barrington according to his census returns but can't find his baptism record.There is an Edward and Ann Rayner in Barrington who have one child baptised 1782 and another in 1780 but no other baptism records. Which seems strange as Edward died in 1819 and Ann in 1839.
