Charles Pardington C1810 Winchcombe.

Hi All.

I have a Charles Pardington born C1810 Winchcombe. Died 1866 Winchcombe would love to find his baptism and his parents names.

He Married Elizabeth Mansell 13/10/1830 Winchcombe.

They had three daughters Elizabeth Bapt. 7/3/1832 Winchcombe Died 1839. Caroline c1835(I think married Joseph Byrd), Rosamond c1837(I think married George Knight), and I think they had a son William born 1844(GRO says mother's maiden name Mansell) Although I cant find William at all. There is a William born 1844 Winchcombe living in Tewkesbury in 1851 with a Thomas Pardington no mother and there is a George with them and the GRO says his mother's maiden name is Long(Which is Elizabeth's mother's maiden name).

I think Caroline died 1883. When did Rosamond die?.

Looking at the Gloucestershire Baptism Index CD for PARDINGTON in Winchombe - the surname on a number of occasions is spelt PARDENTON -   and here he is

Thank You So much for that Capetown.

I do have that CD that is where I found Elizabeth but of course never thought to look for other spellings.

It's a shame it only goes up to 1837.

So Anne could be a twin of Caroline and could have died. William could be Charles and Elizabeth son but was living with Thomas who could be Charles's brother born just before Joseph although not showing on the baptisms.
