Please make Army Picture clearer
« on: Monday 12 June 17 11:17 BST (UK) »
Could anyone please clear this photo up a bit so I can see who the man is, do not know if he is a relative or not.
Thanks

Can you re-scan just the photograph?

I tried for about an hour and almost through my computer out of the window. So for the sake of the rest of my hair I must admit defeat. I am sorry

Cleaned it up a bit but the man's face is just 10-12 JPEG 'blocks' with no detail. The scan resolution (600 dpi) is fine you but might get a better result by avoiding JPEG compression altogether:
- scan directly to a TIFF or BMP file rather than to a JPEG file (see scanner options)
- post (a link to) the TIFF or BMP file. It may be too large to post attach directly to Rootschat.
