I support Ruskies interpretation. It would help further if you could give some further examples of the handwriting on the document that this is from to compare the writing.

The father had MANY occupations in life
Bootmaker, newsagent, janitor, soldier, politician....
He grew up in the workhouse

Yes, the e in Weaver looks like the e at the end of Curate - so I'll stick with Weaver.  :)
