Tilley's
« on: Monday 12 June 17 22:31 BST (UK) »
Just sorting my Tilley's as you do :)   who wouldn't want one :)  :)

then I come up against one that was actually christened .... after she was buried.....

is this possible ... I didnt think so... but maybe someone knows better.

I have checked for a sibling being born after the first  with the same name and cannot find one.. ~

The records are on FindMyPast and here is a 'slice'  from the Parish Reg.

Xin :) :)

Suspect transcription should probably be Jan not Jun.  Born & christened in January and died in February

Looking at the image it definitely says the baptism was June.  The two immediately before are also June and the one after is July.

oops, pressed post in error.. sorry!

It's late & my brain isn't working fully, but with the year starting in March wouldn't June come before February anyway (ie the burial would be Feb 1692 in the new calendar)

I have found similar instances and it can be confusing - e.g. baptisms preceding a marriage.

It is as Jomot says. The images show that the burial was actually in 1692, with 1691 ending in March of that year by the current calendar.
