A relative of Flight Lieutenant Gerard Gough R.A.F.V.R has come forward and will now contact CWGC regarding there appeal.

There are no children shown with them

Although there is a 1926 GOUGH birth in Birmingham with mother's maiden name CRAWFORD

I know from previous CWGC searches - CWGC require direct relatives - so the more information there is will help to get to those people.

From past experience, sometimes those found listed on family tree's are quite distant - its amazing how far out from there branches people go.

Absolutely agree

When trying to find living relatives, you sometimes have to take long route to get there! By finding a distant cousin can sometimes unearth a close relative.

Hopefully if someone else comes along researching the family they will have some information to start with here.

Richard Gough was a widower on his marriage 1864
possibly married Ellen Cavanagh 1854 a son James born 1855 Blacklion dtr Catherine 1860 Golden Bridge both in Inchicore area.

Glasnevin shows a burial 1864 for Ellen GOFF age 30 which still registers when entering Golden Bridge into address Box
