Auckland Lib dumping genealogy historical books !

Trolley loads of books have been given away for months ... 

Last time I was there, I enquired about what was happening, they got all sheepish and finally said they were all double copies and space was being cleared.

I doubted that they would have extra copies of some of those books on the trolley and grabbed half a dozen cemetery record books.

When i went back a week later there was another trolley load ... 


Maybe its along the lines of everything is on the net now and NOBODY reads books anymore.
