Ancestry account details

I recently had to update my card/payment details on Ancestry, but am stlll getting asked to update. I would like to see what details they have for me but when I go into my account the only thing I see is a blank form to upgrade my card details.
Am I missing something. How can I see my details?

I don't understand why they are asking you to update your bank details. Are you sure this has come from Ancestry?
Are you receiving this via an email or when you log in to Ancestry?
If you're satisfied it is from them you may need to enter it all again.
It's possible you inadvertently made an error the first time.
Ancestry won't display you bank details as it's case sensitive information.

The way I see it - if you're responding to an email, it's probably a phishing scam?

To check your details:
1. Login to Ancestry.
2. Click on your username (top right).
3. Click on "My Account".
4. Under the sub-heading (on right-hand side) "Subscription Options" click on "Update Payment Information".

Why don't you phone them freephone 08004049723 ...I would say this could be a scam

I had a new card recently and thought i had updated the various payments I make with it. But when I am logged into Ancestry I get one of their messages at the top of the screen saying I need to update.The renewal was due last week and the money has not left the account.
I know I can simply update again so perhaps do that, but it would be usefull to check what number they have  to see if the original update went through!

When I did the update and sent the information, I did not get any message to say saved, updated or whatever, The screen just flickered and returned to the blank form. Is that what usually happens?

If I remember correctly you get a message saying your details have been updated.
I would log in & do it again as something has clearly gone wrong the first time.

Normally when you renew your membership you would receive a e-mail from Ancestry with a date of when the renewal started from and expiry date ..I would give them a call and see what they say

You are supposed to be able to check the details of the card you have registered with Ancestry. When the blank form appears you should be asked for log in details as a security precaution and then your card details should be  shown. I just checked this myself and it isn't working . I would ring them rather than just entering your details again. It's free and they are usually helpful.

Thanks for help. Phoned then and all sorted. Downside was that they did not appear interested in the fact that I had filled in the upgrade form and the information had just vanished. They also said that you just fill in the upgrade form, no extra checks needed as you would be signed in.
