From Familysearch David Griffith married Elinor Williams in Llanfair-is-gaer on 4 July 1821 the year before Robert died. However, a bit more information is to be found in Robert's will on the llgc website. https://www.llgc.org.uk/index.php?id=6838
If you have not used this before select Bangor as the diocese box. In the first Select drop down list pick "Name", enter Robert Williams in the adjacent box. In the next Select drop down list pick "Parish" and start typing Llanfair-is-gaer . Press the search button.
Any problems get back to me.

Looks like there are two Robert Williams (or more like thousands in Wales). Certainly the one buried at Llanrug in 1822 was a Farmer of Bryn(n) Farm, Llanfair-is-gaer. From his will he had a wife called Margaret and a daughter called Elinor and I can only surmise that he is not your Robert.
I presume you have been researching family tree back through the census. What is the census record you are sure is correct, preferably in 1851?
