I was writing this when smudwhisk posted.  I will continue as I believe it adds some information.

Eodem die baptizata erat Anna filia Johannis
Britten

Eodem die = The same day, meaning as in the previous record, which has Vicesimo secundo = the 22nd

That record gives the month as eiusdem mensis - the same month, as does the next record up.

You'll need to search upwards on the page for the first record where the month is named.

Anna filia Johannis = Anna daughter of John

I'm not sure why erat is used instead of fuit = was.  I think it should be read as:

The same day has been baptized Anna daughter of John Britten

Google translate interestingly translates erat as "was", but I agree its strange that erat is used in some places and fuit in others.  Not knowing much Latin, I tend to have to look for translations online for words I don't know if I can read them correctly. ;)

Thank you both for your help.

Its most appreciated. I will have to go back to the original register as the year/month must appear on the sheet earlier as nothing shows on the currant page.

Be careful with the year, as this was under the old calendar (sometimes called Old Style) when New Years Day was 25 March. Thus 31 Dec 1601 was followed by 1 Jan 1601, and 24 Mar 1601 was followed by 25 Mar 1602. A register from 1601 should reflect this usage.

The accepted way to refer to Old Style dates between 1 Jan and 24 Mar is with a double year, eg 1 Jan 1601 is rendered 1 Jan 1601/02. The IGI doesn't generally do this, so without checking the original register it's impossible to tell whether the transcriber has left the date in Old Style as found (1601) or converted it to New Style (1602).
Researching among others:
Bartle, Bilton, Bingley, Campbell, Craven, Emmott, Harcourt, Hirst, Kellet(t), Kennedy,
Meaburn, Mennile/Meynell, Metcalf(e), Palliser, Robinson, Rutter, Shipley, Stow, Wilkinson
