Seeking descendants of Evelyn Rose Randall nee Barnsby

My friend's grandfather had a sister who her father's siblings appear to know nothing about and she'd like to try and trace the sister's descendants if possible. The details are as follows:
Evelyn Rose Barnsby, born 1908, Barnstaple, Devon, married John Methuen Randall in Devonport, in 1927. A daughter, Joyce E. Randall, was born while they were in Devonport, but after this the trail goes completely cold, despite our best efforts to trace them. Having ordered their marriage certificate, we now know that John was a Stoker in the Royal Navy, and are wondering if perhaps the family was posted abroad or emigrated at some point after this. Any information on them would be gratefully received.

Have you seen the death for Joyce E Randall aged 0 in Devonport, Mar qtr 1928?

John's naval records show that he was discharged dead (DD) from influenza on 29 Jan 1929, at Greenwich.

I can't at the moment see his death registration.  His records show that he was born on 29 March 1900, so he would have been 28 (a couple of months short of his 29th birthday) in January 1929.

Avm, thank you so much for that information. I don't know how I missed Joyce's death registration as I've looked often enough. I'm getting old, I think! I will have to see if Evelyn remarried shortly after.

For Evelyn R Randalls there are these records but only the certificates will probably tell you if they are YOUR Evelyn R Randall. You may be able to eliminate them.

This person was born in 1920 - died as Evelyn Rose Troll in Redbridge in 1989.

Yes I was looking at deaths of Evelyn Rose X 1929 - 1983 & there were 7 born in 1908 - or so they are recorded!!

This one may well be the Evelyn R M McKenna who married Gilbert Randall in Fulham in 1921.
