Deciphering Family Crest of sugar nips

Hi,
I have these sugar nips dating London 1875. On the end of them, is an engraving from a Coat of Arms.
I know this is probably a long shot, but does anyone out there recognise it?
I have done some googling, but cant seem to find it.
We were told it was someone of importance who had these.
I can see a crown, lions paw/fist holding a club. Or is it a bears paw?
Please tell me what you can see, any help/thoughts much appreciated x

Not at all my area of expertise, tibbers, but I would say most likely a bear's claw.

That in turn makes me think of Russia, although I see the hallmark is London.  (I could be entirely wrong on all counts).

Not my area of expertise either . . . but most of the Russian crests seem to have a very different 'Russian' crown . . .  just saying . . .  ;)

Recently someone posted a crest on a tureen for identification - it was suggested that it may have been from a dinner service from a hotel or pub's dining room.

I wonder if it may be the case here?   :-\

Someone knowledgeable should be along soon to help you with this.

-A bear's paw issuing from a ducal coronet is the Scudamore family crest...not sure what the club denotes...maybe which son? I'll keep looking!

The problem here is that the crest, which sits on top of the shield, can change for different branches of the same family.

I did find this:
LACEY Azure, 3 bendlets ermine. Crest: A bear's paw, erased, holding a rose branch, leaved vert

But your photo doesn't look much like a rose branch? :-\
