BMB Records from 1800 for Northumberland
« on: Saturday 17 June 17 08:16 BST (UK) »
I have been using the Baptisms, Marriages and Burials (BMB) Register for Elsdon/Northumberland dated 1672 - 1812 transcribed by Rev. Thomas Stephens and was wondering if there are any similar sites available for BMB's after 1812? (other than familysearch.org)

If your looking for you Browns FreeREG has Burials 1674-1838 in Elsdon.
(only 1 early Marriage and Baptism though)
I only checked Brown as I didnt know what names you wanted (looked at your old posts)

Bishops Transcripts images are available on Family Search, billed as 1762-1830 (though I haven't checked to see if there are any gaps) so they may give you another 18 years worth, at home, for free:

http://www.rootschat.com/links/01k9k/

Let all the thumbnails load before you start mooching through them, may take a little while, depending on your connection speed.

The Family Search Catalogue gives the following list of original register images that can be viewed, for free, at a Family History Centre:

NB only those with a camera icon by the entry are available.

Thanks trish1120 and Tickettyboo.

Tickettboo: I haven't been able to find anything on John Brown - Tailor and Mary Ann Brown m:1842, bit thin on starting information - to many possible outcomes. Sorry, but not giving up yet.

Cheers

John was Mary Ann's Dad. I didn't mean for you to spend time looking for him (believe me, that way lies madness !) just if you are researching `browns and ever come across a John Brown, Tailor I'd be interested.
