I can't see a marriage for Samuel and Eliza, suspect they did not marry for some reason. The trail for Samuel Mallan found by Ellenmai seems to end in 1901, so he could be Samuel Mullins in 1911.

Marriage on 19 sep 1892 at St Augustine S Hackney between Eliza Bryan 24 spinster of 30 White post lane d/o John Bryan deceased and John Phillips 27 bachelor costermonger of 99 Chapman road s/o Henry Phillips costermonger. Wit William Hewitt, Annie Starkey
Could this be the same Eliza marrying one of Samuel's neighbours, ten she leaves her husband anf=d moves in with Samuel?

There is a removal order for Eliza Bryan age 7 and her mother Mary ann age 37 from Shoreditch to Hackney, says husband John deserted them. I think this is Mary Ann nee Lay. could be connected
