Thanks. Have been looking for Juliette and Harry Emerson. Juliette appears to be born 12 Feb 1927 Ottawa and Harry 30 Sep 1921 Los Angeles. Both living 2007 Costa Mesa but can not find deaths.

Looking at the Coleby family in Brighton - 2 of the girls did not marry any one of the name O'Neil which is the name given to next of kin on attestation papers of Harold Coleby.

There was an Ada Coleby aged 24 years - could be the one who went to USA on the St Louis - 8 July 1916  ??? Didn't see a UK marriage for her.  ???

Elizabeth married Ernest Frank Pullinger and passed away March 1944 - Cuckfield Sussex - 2b222 - 64 years.

Rose Ena married William James Till and passed away 4 June 1947. Probate 15 August 1947.

Have been looking for Marie Coleby with no success. The 1975 obit for Harold Sr shows her as Marie and Joseph Carvelho of Kitchener. The 1999 obit for sister Irene Snowden shows her as Marie Carvello and the 2003 obit for Harold Jr mentions her as sister Marie. A search of OCFA shows no burials in Ontario for Carvello/Carvelho but does show Carvalho in the Kitchener area. I contacted all cemeteries in Kitchener/Waterloo but no burials for Marie/Joseph. There should be a record of some sort for Marie and Joseph but I am not finding it.

Will have another go at Kitchener cemeteries. Thought also crossed my mind that if Marie was last child born she could still be alive.

Mother Elizabeth Markham.....Markham almost matches the mmn Markwick given for all the cildren born to George and Elizabeth in Brighton; a guess on someone's part or a mistranscription perhaps?

There are a Joseph and Maria Carvalho in Brampton in the 1968 voter's list. Wonder if this is your couple?

Carvalho seems to be the spelling used in the phone directory.
